Your patient alerts are divided into three priorities, all which are have their own bucket:

  • Do Now – tackle these daily because they are time-sensitive suggested actions for acute patient scenarios

  • Do Next – complete these on a weekly basis for preventative and proactive care

  • Awareness – review these regularly for informational events on your patients

The patients on this list are sorted by Urgency Score (descending order), which is a priority-order based on health complexity and determined by Pearl's algorithm. Note this prioritization should never replace a clinician’s judgment.

You can also navigate the following buckets to show patient alerts by status:

  • In Progress - easily keep track of ongoing work by seeing who on your staff recorded the most recent action, and any comment they’ve added

  • Actions - contains alerts from the last 30 days that have been closed out, either as completed or as dismissed. Use this bucket to reference team member work and to double-check or review your own work.
